Glass and more Glass!

Just needed to make things easy to update in the hopes that I can keep up with them. The jay-oh-bee is looking pretty iffy right now, not sure where that’s going to go in terms of employment, but even if things head south I am hoping that by getting all my beady stuff online and turning it up a notch I can at least eek out some sort of existence.

I love Sundays.  I will often lounge around and read in bed for awhile - the husband is off to work early on Sundays, so I have the place to myself.

Today I will be working on getting ready for SPARKCon next week in Raleigh.  I’ll be at the Pour House on Blount St.  It’s the Art Factory opening, I’m pretty excited!  This is an ART show, so I’ve got to get my set up looking more raw and arty and less arts and crafty, know what I mean?  I need some help….hm…

Anyway, I’m also trying to get some new beads up and on the website, I’ve got some great ones to photograph with my new tabletop studio…

New stuff on the For Sale page, as well as the galleries.  I have a ton of new pics, just gotta get them cropped and all web ready and up they go!  A trip to Portland is in the works (Oct 13 - 17) - Hoping to get to the Bullseye Factory this time, and the store to see what new colors might be available…

Well, I’ve finally broken down (more than I already am broken down) and purchased one of these.

I tried setting my own little studio up with a plastic box that softly diffused the light, as well as some lights themselves that actually got so hot they were making me sweat. That didn’t work.

Then I figured hey, natural light. So I took all the beads outside and tried with the sunlight. Nope. Too many shadows, too stark. Only could work at certain times of the day..ugh.

Not to mention the THOUSANDS of pictures I took and discarded due to crappy backgrounds, crappy lighting, crappy whatever.

So, that being said, you can expect some pretty decent shots as well as a ton more stuff on etsy and in the Gallery and For Sale on website.
